Abbot Lane
Now available at
A dramatic passage from Abbot Lane featuring college student Jessie Carlton, in his Kreil disguise, riding his borrowed mount Hurricane, through stormy dense woodlands towards the hideout. He startles and subsequently rescues injured 'sleeper' spy Taras, before continuing on his mission to disrupt the sinister terrorist plot.

Her hand throbbed and she felt faint. If infection hadn't already set in it soon would.
Along her rear around a bend in the road something approached.
The sound grew in intensity and she scrambled among the brush.
Sheet lightening ignited the way as a horse and rider rounded the curve. Like a demon from Hades the beast reared up and paced back and forth.

RED DUST : Layeux has outstanding songwriting ability. His sincere yet raspy vocals provide a perfect vehicle for these songs of space exploration, history and whimsy.

RED DUST: Jim Layeux is one of Canada's best kept secrets. FOLK/ROOTS UK
Antenna Town
QUOTES:
ANTENNA TOWN: A fabulous disc! Vocals, guitar and harmonica from songwriter Jim Layeux are impressive throughout. Supported by a capable rhythm section - strong blues configurations are featured without losing any of the obvious pop sensibilities. Excellent! DIRTY LINEN
ANTENNA TOWN: Is a stunning hybrid of pop and blues. How can one tell if 'Round the Kitchen cock-a doodle, doodle do' is sung in irony or earnestness? Among the durable tunes, vocals and musicianship, traces of early Dire Straits can be heard. MANITOBA BLUES SOCIETY
